How do I get my twins interested in reaching for toys?
My twins are 14 weeks old (just over 3 months), and they still don't seem interested in grabbing for toys. They'll grab any body part in reach, though
like my fingers, hair, even my nose! But as far as their toys, (plush toys, rattles, etc.) they don't have much interest. I'll place a toy in their hands, and they'll hold on to it for a while, but then they let go and don't seem to care. They've both been looking at their hands a lot lately, so I figured the next step was showing interest in toys. Is it OK that they don't seem to want to play with their toys yet?
Thanks!
Put them on an activity gym. They may be more apt to reach after they have had time to examine it. As opposed to doing it only when mommy hands them one. My son will be 4 months on Friday and he started reaching for things on his gym a few weeks ago. You babies should be coming along any time!!
